7 Ways You Know Fall is Coming: Stoner Edition

Fall is coming, which is a pretty exciting time for us stoners.
Never gave it much thought?
You’d be surprised how much this season miiiight just be our season.
These are our 7 ways we know fall is coming, and also why fall is probably my favorite season ever.

1. The days are shorter, so your nighttime strains are getting a little more use.

You know fall is coming because the sunset is getting earlier and earlier each night.

And that means you’re finally able to give those sativas of the day a rest and break out your favorite indica strains.

There’s no better excuse to curl up and get cozy with your favorite indica strain than a setting sun after a long day.

And luckily for us, our nights are getting longer and longer, so we can keep smoking that indica until we fall into a blissful sleep. Ahh…

2. It’s getting colder outside at night which makes you even more inclined to want to stay in and smoke a bowl instead of go out.

Go out? For a drink!? But fall is coming and it’s less than 70 degrees outside!

If you love smoking weed as much as we do, you probably would much rather smoke with some good friends than go out drinking.

Especially after a long summer of going out, it’s nice to be able to cozy up again.

Not only do you stay nice and warm, but you don’t have to deal with a hangover the next day either.

3. You’re smoking on strains that make you creative so you can plan the most amazing Halloween costume you’ve ever dreamed of!

You’re on Pinterest and you’re pinning awesome DIY costume hacks, you’re on Youtube searching for the goriest makeup tutorials, you are in full preparation mode for one of the best holidays ever!

You’re smoking on one of your most creativity-inducing strains to come up with the most outrageous costume yet.

4. You’re getting ready for the most epic Danksgiving ever!

If you could imagine the perfect stoner holiday, what would it be?

Would it involve a feast of delicious food and enjoying it with your closest friends and family when fall is coming?

That’s what DANKSgiving is all about!

You could even go the extra mile and create a feast full of cannabis-infused classic fall foods. Mmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

But whatever you do, don’t forget the pumpkin pie.

5. You’ve already bookmarked the recipe to make pumpkin spice edibles.

Speaking of making a dank feast, nothing says “I’m a stoner and fall is coming” like pumpkin spice cannabis-infused edibles!

Embrace your inner basic-ness with all of these amazing pumpkin spice edibles recipes.

Fall is coming, after all. ‘Tis the season.

6. Our side of the planet is slowly facing away from the Sun… And you SWEAR you can feel it!

You ready for some science?

The earth spins around the sun one time every year, but the earth is a little wonky.

While it’s moving around the sun, it’s also slightly tipped over, which makes the northern hemisphere closer to the sun at one time of the year, and the southern hemisphere closer at another time of the year.

When we know that fall is coming, it’s because the northern hemisphere (aka, our hemisphere if you’re in the US) is tipping away from the sun.

And, maybe it’s just me, but can’t you feel the earth moving below your feet when you’re at a certain level of baked? No? Just me?

7. The Halloween candy section at your local grocery store is calling your name when you get the munchies.

That aisle full of bags and bags of Halloween candy is haunting you.

Some people see it as the aisle to pick up the candy they’re going to give out to kids during Halloween, but we see it as the premium munchie aisle!

But our life hack?

Go to the grocery store a day AFTER Halloween to come up on the 50% bags of candy!

Munchies at a discount? Count me in!
